Hello #LGB

[MLB @MLB]

We are saddened by the passing of Hall of Fame second baseman Bill Mazeroski, who hit one of the greatest home runs in baseball history.

On Oct. 13, 1960, Game 7 of the World Series, bottom of the 9th inning, Mazeroski smashed a walk-off home run to lead the Pirates to a 10-9 win over the Yankees for the championship.

Mazeroski’s most famous moment was just a snapshot of his brilliant career. A 10-time All-Star and 8-time Gold Glove winner in 17 seasons with Pittsburgh, Mazeroski was considered one of the finest defensive second basemen of all time.

He hit .323 in 12 Postseason games and won 2 World Series rings with the Pirates. A statue depicting Mazeroski’s famous trip around the bases in 1960 stands outside PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

Mazeroski was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001. He was 89.

@godfree I’m hoping for Keanu/Morgan. Want to see him make it after being on the block so much.

@godfree Finally for my email from Nintendo and ordered a Switch. Will have to join future races with you guys.

@PREM1186 That is my big worry with this. One of the main pillars of their rise.

[Mark Fischer @TheyCallMeMark_]

Three runs… in this economy?

[Mark Fischer @TheyCallMeMark_]

So what you’re saying is they fired the manager and today’s lineup looks exactly the same as the ones that produced zero runs before the firing.

@WJacky101 When do you think duos ranked will be added? Couldn’t tell if June was a date for just the new rank tier system or for all of the ranked news.

[Mark Fischer @TheyCallMeMark_]

@Wojo412 I find all 4 remaining teams annoying and therefore hard to pick a favorite.

@chengelis @Jomboy_ the world awaits

@PREM1186 you’re my expert. Has anyone said if Fleury is starting tonight?
