Maybe drop the late joiner penalty fees and more older people would join and you can increase your numbers. The youth are going through the most out here.
Young South Africans are increasingly dropping out of medical aid schemes, putting serious financial pressure on remaining members.

Maybe if you didn't increase premiums whilst decreasing benefits and having ridiculous exclusions people would see value? People on income based plans are being verified on their income more intensely than an actual tax audit. There's no value to it anymore.

Started this as a hobby and mainly for myself as personal inquiry into my own heritage.
Now I’m being invited to conferences and biennales. You can just do things, be authentic & stop caring about systems & structures
the most liberating thing in the world is realizing you can just write it bad. you can write it bad and make it good later. does everyone know about this??????
ya know, sometimes i feel like the Lord of The Rings trilogy was the last gasp of truly classical "movie magic" before the whole landscape changed. and i don't even just mean practical effects. i mean those movies understand cinema in the way the early pioneers of the medium did
This past week, I got to watch all three Lord of the Rings movies (extended) in theaters.
I was too young to see them when they came out, so it was my first time on the big screen.
Three things were clear to me:
1) the collapse of the theater industry is a tragedy; there’s something so special about seeing moments like Helm’s Deep and the Pelennor Fields in that format.
2) It was the perfect cultural (and technological) moment for those movies to be made.
3)Hollywood lacks the skill and care necessary to ever approach that level again.
I’m glad that we braved the ice and snow to see them.
Actually shocking the number of people I deal with who pass themselves off as extremely pious and religious yet most of their suggestions to me involve committing fraud. In the same breath they complain of government corruption and theft.
This is not limited to one religion
