I used to thunk gaming was reaching some sort of peak in terms of graphics and physics and photorealism was just around the corner but playing modcraft has shown me that the hardware has a long way to go before it can play a fully realised minecraft simulation.

Latest mod list.
I didnt want to add the world and mini map because I liked the danger of getting lost but once you see how the big the world is and how useful they are you will want to keep them.
Some of these mods would be great for late game unlocks.

I I was going to make a minecraft mod it would be to make the villages hostile and defended so you had to find an unclaimed patch of land and create your own village and go on raids to steal food to prevent famines.

You could keep expanding your empire and absorbing other

Meanwhile ai could be working to do the same on another part of the map and you have to organise yourself and be prepared so when the empires meet the ai will battle it out.

Like age of empires of total war but in minecraft.

The graphics are glitchy and imperfect and my computer struggles with the load but the potential for this game to utilise hardware is limitless.

Before the plane you'd have to sail or build a rail track but with the new mods stretching the landscape so it appears more realistic you need the plane.

The volcano is three large map grids away from my spawn and is the only place ive found granite so far.
