@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes I'm not the booker, I can't tell you why, but I'm sure it's not based on in ring ability. They clearly don't position people based on how they are in the ring
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes I'm fully aware that we view wrestling from 2 different prospectives lol. I can easily just rebuttal that w/ a guy like LA Knight who isn't anything special in the ring but has charisma and good storylines and loses a lot being more over than Penta
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes Hogan was a mid wrestler from an in ring prospective but he got you because of the character. His in ring work was the last thing you cared about
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes The actual in ring part is the least important thing in wrestling lol. If I can't care about the guy I'm watching, why do I wanna see him wrestle?
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes I enjoy the competitive aspect and when they actually get you drawn to it w/ captivating characters and stories, the matches are even better and that's the hook. I don't know how you don't see that
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes And that's fine, but again that's incredibly easy to book because that was my original point it takes no real effort to go book Penta vs JD with no backstory so the whole "10 defenses in 10 weeks" is always easy when you don't have to worry about actually writing for him
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes It's 2 guys doing choreographed moves my guy, if you wanna see people do professional wrestling w/ no backstory involved, go watch actual wrestling.
The entire point is to have a character involved telling a story
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes This is how I know you don't actually have any points to a debate when you gotta take the grammar route lol. Wait let me make sure it's got to instead of gotta lol. Next time just say I'm right.
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes Nothing was spelled wrong.
I can absolutely name better weekly matches than you can name interesting stories. Your issue is you thinking all people watch wrestling to see people do choreographed moves when people want to have a story and a why as to what they are watching.
@CousinBocheefus@cybercitysaint@Jwrasslintakes The in ring product has never been the issue w/ the company it's the fact that they can't produce captivating characters and stories. It's why they're currently rehashing the bloodline because it was there last successful story
Penta/Rey, the KOTR , Sol/Lyra were all good
@cybercitysaint@CousinBocheefus@Jwrasslintakes Modern WWE's problem is that they don't actually give you good storylines consistently the wrestling which you guys clearly put over the storylines isn't the problem, you get good in ring work every week. There's nothing to get guys captivated w/ in terms of a story
@cybercitysaint@CousinBocheefus@Jwrasslintakes Good characters get more reaction than good matches. You think people are cheering LA Knight because he's HBK in the ring? The dude is entertainment and someone that you're drawn to because he's charismatic and drawn too through stories that have gotten fans into the guy
