@AFlorence10462 The pic is fake for one. There were no cameras allowed in the courtroom. Secondly. He's guilty based on the facts and testimony, even those who stood for the defense.
Bro, all I’m saying is that if Pierre were to buy unsold condos from his wealthy donors,
and then call his MPs only good for votes,
he would have to pull a Keir Starmer.
This is wild.
@HazelMoore32 Nothing to say when a black man is killed? half of America gets burned to the ground every time a black man is killed. What are you talking about. Plus, something like 90% of a murders of black men are done by wait for it... other black men.
@JobberNationTV Crazy notion, he's a TKO employee and was asked to attend as a function of his job... and likely had nothing to do with politics. Not everything is orange man bad.
@GavinNewsom Walls are closing in on you. I see your act. Trying to get in front of it and spin your narrative. You're as corrupt as they come and it's only a matter of time before it comes to light.
Just an FYI - Not a single level headed, logical person is worried about an appeal. I have zero concern.
Many of the same people who spent the last year insisting that Karmelo Anthony acted in self-defense are now placing all of their hope in an appeal. The problem is that appeals are not second trials.
An appellate court does not decide whether it agrees with the jury. It does not re-weigh the evidence. It does not revisit every witness and ask who it believes more. Its job is to determine whether a significant legal error occurred during the trial.
The jury heard the self-defense argument. The defense was allowed to present witnesses. The evidence was presented. The jury deliberated and returned a guilty verdict.
Unless appellate counsel can identify a specific legal error that materially affected the outcome of the trial, the conviction stands.
That is why most criminal appeals fail.
What will likely happen next is what we’ve already watched happen for over a year. If the conviction is upheld, many of the same activists who insisted the evidence was on their side will claim the appeal was “rigged,” the courts were “corrupt,” the judge was biased, the “wrong video footage was shown”, the jury was racist, and the entire system was a setup.
(BTW, the ONLY video footage was shown in the courtroom on day ONE. And it only helped the prosecution, not the defense).
At some point, people have to accept reality. Every unfavorable outcome cannot be explained away as a conspiracy.
A jury heard the evidence. A verdict was reached. An appeal will review the law… not rewrite the facts. If the conviction is affirmed, it won’t be because of a setup. It will be because the appellate court found no reversible error in the trial proceedings.
@Babchik@DamonAmendo I am so disappointed in you Babs for not taking one second to thank @DanhausenAD for lifting the Knicks' curse so you can enjoy this championship.
@itzRex@0stoppinToppin It wasnt an all white jury. There were Asian and Latino jury members and the black kpotential jurors all had to be dismissed because the said the could not be unbiased in favor of a black person over a white.
Those are the facts
@BreitbartNews It was NOT an all white jury, there were Asian and Latino Americans on the jury, further more several potential black jurors had to be dismissed because they outright said the could not be unbiased "i could not see myself convicting a black man" one said. Explain to me the issue
A few facts about the Karmelo Anthony case:
• He declined a bench trial.
• His family chose a white attorney.
• Black jurors were struck after admitting potential bias.
• The jury was not all white.
Facts matter
