Well, it was only a matter of time before we saw the first frost advisory of the season for Southern Ontario, and tonight is that night!

Environment Canada has issued a fairly expansive frost advisory covering the higher elevations of Central Ontario.

This includes Huntsville, Northern Peterborough County, Haliburton, Algonquin Park, Bancroft and Barry’s Bay.

Overnight into Monday morning, temperatures are expected to dip near the freezing mark. This could lead to the development of patchy frost in some areas.

If you have any sensitive plants, make sure to cover them up or bring them inside to avoid frost damage.
