And if you ask me how dramatic my mom is, I’ll sit you down and tell you about the day she lent our neighbor her knife. Instead of returning it, the woman said the knife looked like hers, so it was hers. 😂

My mom didn’t argue or fight over it. She just let it go.

Fast-forward a few months later, my mom begged this same woman for her biggest pot., the type we use to cook for ceremonies. The woman gave it to her.

My mom calmly wrote her initials on the pot with red nail polish and told our neighbor, “This pot is mine. See my initials.”

Everybody that came out to settle the matter agreed that the pot belonged to my mom because her name was fully written on it.

And that’s how my mother recovered her knife in the form of a giant cooking pot. 😭😂
