After completing search & rescue operations in Cyclone Ditwah hit areas of Sri Lanka since 29 Nov, the National Disaster Response Force, India teams departed for India.

From navigating submerged neighbourhoods to trekking through Badulla’s treacherous, landslide-hit terrain, they rescued nearly 150 people — including pregnant women, infants, the critically ill and differently-abled.

@ssudaraka True. But I have traveled in risky mountains regions in Japan through public buses. Drivers are super cautious and discipline. In Sri Lanka, most of the drivers are indiscipline, disrespectful, unrest and high ego.

@Menitweet Once I ws traveling on 99 route bus , when I was about to get down from Maharagama, closer to mid night, saw the driver was playing a game in mobile while driving. Driving job must be strictly regulated.

@ChandimaKaru Not only tippers , most of the drivers are same irrespective of vehicle. Im writing this while travelling in 122 bus to Colombo ,driving like a wild animal...accident is inevitable
