This hedgehog came in with lungworm and a slight respiratory infection. After some worming and antibiotics he (or she) is certainly feeling better.

They're kestrel pellets!
Birds of prey cannot digest the bones and fur of their prey so they cough it back up in these neat little pellets!
Ive collected some of Pans (the Eagle owl) pellets and plan on doing a dissection video tomorrow. #birdofprey#kestrel
Steve Irwin was my absolute idol when I was young. All I wanted in the world was to go and work in Australia Zoo and learn from him. Look where that has got me now.
Don't be afraid to show enthusiasm, break the mould and be a little different. Passion rubs off. #steveirwin#wild
Different beak shapes mean different food!
Often we just think about wild birds eating seed. During baby bird season we see so many small ones, we have to keep a wide variety of food in stock, including live mealworm, berries and feeds.
