@Bristolblueeyes I’m amazed that all police chiefs are going m record insisting they have full resources!! It was only 5 weeks ago they were all complaining they had insufficient resources. All seems far too politically driven for me. It’s not good.

@BBCNews Agreed. The actual root causes, which are many and complex. This will require big conversations on the future of our country and how to make it a better place ‘for everyone’. It’s about everything, education, housing, economy, healthcare, immigration - the whole lot.

@DPJHodges Dan, I think the request was from a large portion of the population that want to have open conversations about the future of ‘all of our country’ covering many areas, including immigration, without badging everyone ‘far right’. Using this as a catch all phrase closes out debate

@adilray It’s one of many factors. That’s why we need to hold open and honest discussions about the future needs of our country. Let’s be open about how we want our country to be and then set out much longer term plans. A 4 to 5 year political plan will not fix things.
