Chalk was originally made from compressed shells of small ocean organisms called #coccolithophores. Today, most of our #chalk is made from gypsum, found in the beds of dried-up oceans. Gypsum is also used to make drywall, shampoo, and tennis courts!

Rube Goldberg was an American inventor, engineer and cartoonist best known for his depictions of elaborate contraptions designed to solve simple tasks, called Rube Goldberg machines. He even earned the 1948 Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning!
