Football cannot survive without the supporters. This week's Scottish Parliamentary vote for a price cap is a big step for fans, and clubs must now do their part to ensure prices are fair and affordable.

Jackie McNamara Sr. was one of the most unusual figures in Scottish football. He played for both Hibernian and Celtic, but what made him different was not only his football career.
McNamara Sr. was also a member of the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB). He served as a trade union representative in the Clyde shipyards and was a close friend of labour leader Jimmy Reid. He sold Morning Star and Soviet Weekly newspapers on the streets and was actively involved in socialist activities.
While his teammates played cards, he was known for reading socialist books. In particular, he frequently read “The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists,” considered a classic of working-class literature.
Years later, his son Jackie McNamara also wore the Celtic shirt and became one of the club’s captains.

Truly the greatest to ever do it.
Linda is dead on. Her reflection of the meeting is the most accurate account I have seen. Anyone who says otherwise is putting factional interests above the future of the Scottish Labour Party. Anas and Jackie need to go.
If this isn’t the case, why are we more than a fortnight after an election without any meaningful admission of error? I’ve heard from Starmer, who is probably a bit busier in fairness to him. I’ve heard nothing substantial from our leaders here.
The day before he was announced as Reform's candidate in the Makerfield by election, Robert Kenyon was busy scrubbing clean his Facebook page.
Wonder why?
