The latest national rankings from MIT's #ElectionsPerformanceIndex are out, showing that Tennessee ranks 45th in voter turnout and 42nd in voter registration.
While the state saw an increase in its voter registration rate and only a slight dip in turnout compared to the 2020 election, TN continues to rank among the bottom 10 of all states in civic participation.
