Thank you, Flyers, for bringing playoff hockey back to Philly when nobody thought it was possible. I’ve been here through the dark years, sticking it out as a long-time fan, and this run meant more than words can say. @NHLFlyers
What makes it even better is that this is just the beginning. The Flyers iced one of the youngest groups in the league this year, and it showed every night in their energy, speed, and fearlessness.
While the series didn’t go our way, it proved that this group is on the rise and belongs on this stage.
So yeah, it hurts now—but it’s a different kind of hurt. It’s the kind that comes when you know something special is being built and you’ve gotten a glimpse of what’s coming.
They went toe-to-toe with a powerhouse Carolina team all season and playoffs, playing them eight times and dragging them to overtime in six of those battles, including their final game of the series.
Meanwhile here we are trotting out the same run, run, pass, punt like it’s written into the city charter. Philly deserves better than this stale, WIP-caller-rage-inducing nonsense.
I hope Kevin Patullo was forced to watch that Falcons TD drive on loop. A 40-year-old Kirk Cousins running an offense with motion, creativity, and zero predictability. Receivers moving, defenses confused, touchdowns happening. Absolutely insane concept.
@Eagles@610WIP
Two takes on the Eagles game today. This Amazon Prime Vision and over talk is horrible. After today’s game, Kevin Patullo needs to be fired. Hi high school offense plan is not working in the NFL. Every team has figure out his play calling. @Eagles@NFL
Does Brian DaBoll cry over every single call in the game? Come on dude.. on your fist touchdown Nakobe Dean was tackled at the feet of Dart and no call. Also.. that was a fumble when Dart was sacked. @Eagles@Giants@NFL
@PaulieTakes The fact that I’m forced to see your fat face on my feed is disgusting enough. Then I have to read you BS take on everything not NY.. GTFOOHWTBS
