Undoubted PROOF (KIDS ACT) was PAID for by Over 120 major tech, telecom, and media companies 🚨🚨🚨file lobbying occurred on a single bill 2024-2025⚠️⚠️⚠️
⚠️they are not reading it. They are negotiating the text. Lobbying disclosures on a bill mean those companies submitted markups, drafted amendments, met with committee staff, and traded provisions behind closed doors. They bought their way into the drafting room.🚨🚨🚨🚨
This is textbook regulatory capture.🚨🚨
⚠️⚠️It looks like companies funding the bill, hired the lobbyists who drafted the language, working with the legislators who sponsor it, and voting it through before the opposition can read it. The KIDS Act is a consolidated package. H.R. 7757 is the container. S.1409 is the engine. The companies in the screenshot paid for it…
The lobbying database confirms the money trail.

I love how Sony spent the past week showing everyone exactly why physical media preservation still matters, only to turn around and destroy physical games
This is some Ozymandias shit
@AI_EmeraldApple Nice Theory but you an Asmongold are both wrong. Woke it's just a hair die on the weakness that underpins western civilization. It repeats and has repeated since recorded history.

Interesting theory, you're wrong though. Woke is but a facet of the underlying weakness of the west. The misunderstanding of good ans evil, and performance morality.
It's just currently wearing a leftist Visage
Asmongold wears his usual white shirt and goes on a based monologue about the origins of woke and "who controls the internet".
He correctly points to the real reasons why Woke got so insane...
> Advertiser pressure as the real enforcement mechanism, with "brand safety" bending the knee in one direction.
> Institutional capture with HR, media, trust and safety teams, academia, and tech, predominantly left-wing.
> Manufactured consensus of alarmism over slurs... causing everything to be labeled as racist, exist, hate, Nazi, etc to squelch legit speech.
> Woke never had a fixed goal, and it was endless radicalization, constant purity tests, and even the most pure woke zealot finding themselves outside of the cult.
> And the framing under it all was "mentally ill activism". The karenocracy of radicalization, social contagion, and status seeking became the default.
Then everything cracked when Elon Musk bought X. Content policies changed, advertiser pressure decreased on X, and the Overton window shifted dramatically. Then the market forces led to the commercial failures of the "most woke" pieces of entertainment media, like games and movies.
Here is something he gets a little wrong tho. The "intellectual foundations" of woke with identity politics and postmodern concepts started way before 2010, relegated primarily to university classrooms starting in the 1970's.
Between the mid-late 1990's to about 2010, it was a constant self-feeding mechanism in academia, teaching postmodernism, radical feminism, fighting the male gaze, etc. Those who graduate would then teach more students, publish articles, studies, and so on... Those people multiplied in that decade rapidly and broke out into the wider corporate world that created the woke tsunami that infected everything in the 2010's.
The real "woke" illness started in the small classrooms over a period of 50 years, and if we are going to take back the culture long term, these universities need to be held accountable, and better ideas need to start taking hold in academia.
It's a massive problem that most of the university intelligentsia is overwhelmingly a left-wing cult. Retaking the institutions and voting with our wallet is only going to do so much.... It's like pulling the weeds without tackling the roots.
So what needs to happen?
End the university brainwashing pipeline. Only keep universities for programs that need the infrastructure: STEM, engineering, clinical studies, applied tech development, etc. These need the infrastructure, expensive labs, chemicals, equipment like mass spec, electron microscopes, clean rooms etc... not something that can be moved "online"
Others, like literature and social studies, do not rely on hard infrastructure and need to be moved to more intellectually diverse online learning environments, with mandated balanced views. A lot of these degrees, such as gender studies and critical race theory, should be axed, because they are completely useless and detrimental for Western civilization.
This needs to happen alongside voting with our wallets and retaking institutions, or else the same academic pressure will eventually drag us back into the woke tide in less than a decade.
Sony has also officially announced that the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will be permanently shut down in phases.
Once the store closes:
>You will no longer be able to buy games, DLC, or other digital content on these systems.
>Sony says you’ll still be able to download previously purchased content for the foreseeable future, but no guarantee has been given that this will be permanent.
-PS3
Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua: Store closes starting August 2026.
Additional Latin American and Middle Eastern countries: late 2026.
All remaining regions: July 2027.
-PS Vita
The PlayStation Store will close globally in July 2027.
Sony says the decision is due to the PlayStation Store moving toward modern commerce and payment systems that the PS3 and PS Vita can no longer support, and because it wants to focus resources on newer PlayStation platforms.

The U.S. House has passed the KIDS Act.
The bill requires websites with obscene or explicit content to verify users’ ages, creates nationwide online child safety standards enforced by the FTC, and gives parents more tools to manage what their children can do online.
It also requires companies to protect age verification data and not keep unnecessary personal information.
