@DW_955 They are already eating meat from animals with NWS as it is endemic to South America, where a lot of our imports come from. Billions and billions of pounds of it.
@Empty_America You are Intelligent and observational, and state things in absolutes, which the algorithm loves.
You also do a bait and switch thing, where you make posts that are inspiring and give people hope, then say something like "Americans deserve to die out" out of the blue.
If you've ever ate a burger at a fast food joint, you've most likely ate meat from a cow that had screwworm at some point in its life.
NWS is endemic to Central and South America, and dealing with it is a common, daily task for ranchers there.
@cattleandcorn Yeah but the mower tractor has A/C.
I think the fact that cattle aren't a climate controlled job scares a lot of people away, even if they don't admit/realize it.
@braxton_mccoy Montana historically was never RW, most of the old familys here are, or used to be Dems before switching to Rs in the last 20yrs.
So when Bozeman, Missoula, Kalispell, and Helena go full Libtard there isn't much pushback.
30 days post planting.
It's fairly uneven, as conditions across the field were uneven, but there's something growing everywhere. Overall I'm happy so far and fairly impressed with my kiwi drill.
I have a 12 acre calving lot/field that is beat down to sod.
I am going to no-till Pea/Oat/Barley/Turnip into it with my Aitchison drill and see if I can get a decent forage crop to grow.
Will post updates of the experiment.
Everytime I go to a grocer, I ask the Meat Departments how Beef is doing, and they always say "Can't keep it on the shelves!"
Yes, Beef has gone up in price, but so has everything else, and comparatively speaking is a better value now than it has been in the past.
@kim_nebraska There's a lot of yahoos in the hay business.
I think because, #1 it's an A/C job nowadays, and #2 the feedback loop is slow/broken so they can peddle a lot of crap hay before it catches up with them
@JerodMcDaniel I disagree.
I would rather have poor markets and freedom, than good prices and an overbearing government.
They need to keep chipping away at regulations like this
@TylerAmerica1st@Anc_Aesthetics Went grocery shopping in Bozeman/Belgrade yesterday and seen foreigners leaving store items on the aisle floors, several face tatted gangbangers, and watched them be just generally rude in behavior.
"Broken Window Theory" happens FAST when foreigners move in
