I wish politics weren’t so much about how much power one can gain but more about loving, supporting and showing compassion to those around us.

Imagine where we would be if everyone’s basic needs were met - housing, food, medical & mental health supports, education etc.

Hi all. My cancer surgeon asked me to help spread some really important info.

It turns out that women have been skipping their cancer screening tests because of C-19.

The results aren't good. She's seen few cancers caught as early as mine over the past year. Instead, she's 1/

In the midst of the upheaval caused by C19, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My prognosis is superb - the surgeon says this is a six-month blip on my road - which is a relief.

I almost didn't "bother" to go in for my mammogram because they are painful and generally awful.

It's a perfect description of how I felt that afternoon. Our call relieved some of that exhaustion and gave me a soul lift. 💕 to all of you.
