@kharis_micheal God, I had to better my relationship spiritually thru reading as well as fellowshipping with others. I realized that I’ve never truly been alone bc of him. That made it easier to cope with things mentally. I isolated my triggers & individually dealt with them..1% better each day
It’s okay especially as a man to acknowledge your disappointment in things/people. It doesn’t always have to be your fault, people make their own decisions.
nobody talks about how exhausting it is to live in that space between “things will get better” and “i can’t handle this anymore.” it’s like your emotions are constantly swinging. leaving you both hopeful and defeated in the same day
nobody talks about the angry stage of healing. the rage you feel when you realize how much and how long you were taken advantage of. the absolute disgust you feel towards those people that mislead you. it comes in waves. sometimes you’ll feel healed and then it suddenly hits you.
@iamtitty05 A long term relationship is not meant to feel like prison. If you and your partner are on the same page on that, you can live relaxed and keep things flexible. Relatioships lose their magic when you start grieving your past life as single because of rules being too strict.
You’re not big enough or powerful enough to cancel out God’s plan for your life. He factored in human error when he set you on your path. Take comfort in that.
