Someone on the r/MMORPG subreddit asked a LLM (large language model) what it thinks the potential for LLMs in MMOs would be. It gave predictable answers. And the current top comment gave one of the most succinct takedowns of "AI art" I have ever seen.
Genuinely why do we as consumers have to pay actual money for the 'privilege' of not having advertisements shoved down our throats on every possible place on the Internet?
@KarlMolloy11 It's exactly because it's "nothing new" that we should challenge it and not just accept it as 'just the way that it is'
Imagine how much more peaceful being on the Internet would be without all the noise on screen.
People don't stay on one page for long nowadays for a reason
@KarlMolloy11 It was more a general criticism that things shouldn't have to be the way they are; I'd sadly be surprised to find a study talking about how the negative effects of constantly being exposed to ads
