Caught #ManaShankaraVaraPrasadGaru last night.

In a nutshell - this is not a movie but social engineering at its best by Anil Ravipudi.

As I said earlier, Chiranjeevi was, is, and will be a legend - no actor comes close to him in terms of the range and emotional depth his eyes and voice can convey. If he's our only and only focus, which seems to be the case with this film, then it's quite a treat.

The film might turn out to be his biggest money spinner but I wouldn't place it in his top 20 or even top 50 films of all time.

And yes, Anil Ravipudi is at the exact opposite end of the spectrum where SS Rajamouli resides. While one takes years to craft a masterpiece, like exquisite cuisine with a lot of thought, the other takes a fraction of the time to dish out street food that satisfies the masses, just enough.

If other filmmakers are taking notes it's a hell of a confusing contrast between the two approaches.

As for the audience for this film - they are just part of a social experiment and this isn't a movie atall, it's an experience like going to the Numaish in Hyderabad as an annual ritual, with Chiranjeevi as the main attraction.
