Crimson Desert is Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom but with more mechanics, puzzles, no weapon durability and just so much more to do!!! Can't put this game down.
I am about 15 hours into my Crimson Desert adventure and I have a PSA to people on the fence about purchasing this one - if you are expecting a grand action RPG then you will be disappointed. This is 100% a sandbox action game. Unlimited gameplay but lack of emotional connection.
@B_O_BRich I also don't trust anyone during a sponsorship period because I know there are rules to being sponsored that you have to follow and it's not always genuine
I slept on "Minishoot' Adventures" - such a fun game. It is a twin-stick zelda-like that came out in 2024. I don't love the name of it but the gameplay is so smooth and the level design is awesome! Highly recommend it.
Switch 2...
- $100 games (canadian)
- standalone device instruction app costs money
- new c-button for group chat has "free trial period" and then costs a monthly/yearly fee
- need premium switch online to play gamecube
What is going on over there?
I see this as being the biggest deterrent to people getting through this game. It is an old, rusty formula that doesn't engage the player as easily as it should. Is it still enjoyable in terms of combat and gameplay? Yes. It just takes SO long to get engaged.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows is doing the exact same thing that Days Gone did - extremely slow start where they are trying to explain every little detail and hold your hand through every single element without getting to the hook soon enough.
Well... Dragon Age: The Veilguard isn't as bad as people were making it out to be. Finally been able to play it and I am really enjoying the combat and basic story. Sure, there is some eye-rolling dialogue but overall it is fun and worth the time.
Normalize being okay with playing games on Story/Easy mode. A lot of games have a REALLY amazing story to tell and the flow of the easier difficulties allows you to consume it in a completely natural way :)
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a cinematic masterpiece of a game. The way they tell a story is unmatched. Some of the gameplay is clunky but it is meant to be. Loving my time in this world!
We hadn't played Valheim since February. @Jdcollinscpit and @maplemissy1 joined me again because a new area called the Ashlands was released and we decided it was time to come back. Watch as we prep and enter the new lands:
