Yeah, @FIFAWorldCup official ig account did a thing. They gave all the performers at the first ever half time show at a FIFA world cup final individual performance clip space on their ig page and not BTS!! When I saw their image I thought, oh nice, BTS got recognition too, but nope, it's a halftime performance highlight clip with all the performers.

Then yesterday 20th, on @BBCRadio2 during the Sara Cox breakfast show, she correctly gave a recap of the artists that performed at the World cup halftime show, named the artist and played the song they performed. When it came to BTS, she played 'Butter' instead of "DYNAMITE" which they actually performed. I was so confused I had to double check that I watched BTS perform 'Dynamite' and not 'Butter'.

Now, I'm I surprised that this is still happening in 2026, at first I was, but now I'm not because these organisations have made the choice to downplay/ undermine BTS in ways they think people won't notice. But actually we do.
