Agreed. Though like I've said before, I'm convinced Democrats are trying to avoid a civil war, and Republicans seem to know that something close to it is the only way they're going to be able to hold onto power.
if I was the incumbent governor of Minnesota and I had already declared I would not be running for re-election, I would burn every resource at my disposal to protect my citizens from being murdered by the federal government.
It makes sense we feel stuck, our playbook is limited, for now. Other countries have clearer paths and precedent for removing presidents, the capacity for national general strikes to shut down the economy, and the ability for new parties to form. Without these, we struggle.

@RavenRaynefall@daeblep@MaliceDaFirenze@IGN But yeah, there are tons of decent games that are "woke", many shitty games that are "woke", and many shitty games in general. The problem is an industry filled with near monopolies that don't care for workers or gamers. We're being divided and conquered with this antiwoke shit.
@RavenRaynefall@daeblep@MaliceDaFirenze@IGN But I think that's just a symptom of capitalism, and the heart of why many games suck. TLoU 2 is a fantastic game IMO, its story is weak at points, but everything else is stellar. And its biggest flaw is not being as good as one of the greatest games of all time, its predecessor.
@RavenRaynefall@daeblep@MaliceDaFirenze@IGN This still doesn't prove your argument and adds a new argument that would be hard to back up (the idea that all reviewers are paid shills). I think studios are trying too hard to appeal to virtue signaling libs, and that they sometimes care more about that than making a good game
@RavenRaynefall@daeblep@MaliceDaFirenze It was one from your woke list. It definitely reviewed well (89 critic, 8.5 user score on Metacritic) well and I imagine it not being stuck on Epic Games impacted sales a lot more than it being "woke." But anyway, why not respond to my entire argument instead of nitpicking?
@RavenRaynefall@daeblep@MaliceDaFirenze Hades, Guilty Gear Strive, Alan Wake 2 (reviews and sales figures are great), Harry Potter Legacy, TLOU, Life is Strange, Cyberpunk, Apex Legends, Vampire Therapist, Fallout 76. Across genres, going woke likely has no impact.
@RavenRaynefall@daeblep@MaliceDaFirenze Because you KNOW there are amazing woke games out there but instead of logically deducing that maybe "woke" isn't the deciding factor between good and bad, you've decided to ignore that contradictory evidence and double down on your pre-existing feelings.
@RavenRaynefall@daeblep@MaliceDaFirenze Okay, so we have a list of AMAZING games that are woke, and mediocre games that are woke. Shouldn't our logical conclusion be that "woke" isn't the defining factor? Can I ask why you're so emotional about this?
