This is moronic. Just don't bring the phone into the room with you. You're not gonna get a call from the president of the United States for help. All urgent matters can wait till 6 AM or 5 AM. That's when you should be getting up. In bed and asleep by 10 PM up by 5 AM. You'll thank me later. Oh yes, you can ask me what to do with those two hours. Read something inspirational, educational, motivational, or spiritual.
@JeremiahW2044 There's nothing you can do about it because the people moved from New Jersey in New York are blue. And they've come in by the droves. People aren't turning blue. People who are blue are coming here.
@Fiat_Lux00@newstart_2024 You have never been to AA or Alanon. Wine is perhaps the deadliest of all because it sneaks up on you. I have seen so many men whose wives started drinking Pinot Noir. I was married to one and dated two.
@TheoDrelis@nicksortor Tell us again how you served our country and got multiple degrees and how you connect the dots before anyone sees them. Tell us how great you are.
From Grok The attached video is misrepresented: It shows Japanese police using a standard โhogo sheetโ (protective restraint blanket) to safely subdue a suspect on the ground during a February 2026 arrest in Shin-Okubo, likely for public intoxicationโnot an immigration raid or deportation.
โข Japan enforces strict immigration rules: Under the ongoing โZero Illegal Foreign Residents Planโ (launched ~2025), escorted deportations hit a record 318 in 2025 (nearly triple prior years), with ~68,000 undocumented overstayers targeted through faster processing, limits on repeated asylum claims, and new monitoring tools like social media AI analysis.
โข โSushi wrapping deportationsโ is a meme, not policy: The catchy phrase originated from viral social media clips of the restraint technique; Japan maintains low illegal immigration and cultural homogeneity via longstanding controls, but there is no new โfull sweepโ or official program by that name.
@cptdankkk You're talking about Kevin OLeary You need to look at your spend.
If you're buying bottles of wine at dinner, you may have a problem
For him, Kevin, he doesn't have that problem
Cut out all the stuff you don't need to be spending money on
Just to be clear everyone, the two words are NOT โI feelโ.
The task in the study was not simply saying โI feelโ by itself. Participants viewed negative emotional faces and either labeled the emotion with a word like โangryโ or โfearful,โ or did a comparison task; the affect-labeling condition produced less amygdala response and more right ventrolateral prefrontal cortex response.
So the core finding is that naming the emotion matters, not the phrase โI feelโ specifically. The research supports a brief verbal label such as โangry,โ โsad,โ โanxious,โ or โafraid,โ rather than a longer sentence.
State the emotion: anger. Lonely. Heartbroken. Stressed.
Practical version
A simple evidence-based version of the technique would be:
Pause.
Identify the feeling in one word: โangry,โ โhurt,โ โworried,โ โlonely.โ
Let that label be enough before deciding what to do next.
Thatโs the closest match to the Lieberman finding.

I have found through researching documents that if you ask a question, your prefrontal cortex kicks in. The idea is to move the emotion into logic, but itโs not burying the emotion.
Iโm going to wonder this out loud. Should we ask ourselves, โis this anger that Iโm feeling?โ
Not a judgment question like โwhy am I feeling angry?โ which can lead to guilt and shame.
Please do your own research. I am not a psychiatrist however Iโve been teaching leadership and a psychology behind leadership for the past five years and Iโve been studying it for the past 30 years.
For me, leadership is more spiritual, and you donโt have to be a manager to be a leader. However, you canโt call yourself a leader you can practice the principles of leadership to become a better person.
Hope all that makes sense. And I wish that you all enjoy the magical life we have been given to live.
@grok this is not true. Matthew Liebermanโs research shows something completely different. Youโre supposed to name the feeling. Such as anger, depression, loneliness, but a maximum of two. And try to be as accurate as possible. It doesnโt have to be perfect however. โI feelโ are not the two words.

@andweknow This is false. Todd Blanche didn't say anything about Mike Pence. Why would you say bombshell in all caps? You're turning into the fake news or maybe you are already
