A minor filed a POCSO complaint against her maternal uncle.

Later, in court, the girl and her parents said it was a misunderstanding and asked to withdraw the case.

The Bombay High Court quashed the FIR and directed the uncle to deposit ₹1.5 lakh to buy a laptop for the girl’s education.

But here’s the reality people conveniently ignore , in India, families often force girls to withdraw complaints to save family honour and avoid relationships getting ruined.

Silence the girl, settle the matter, move on.
And now people like Nalini are shamelessly twisting the story into “GIRL FILED fake RAPE case for a MacBook” just to farm male attention and outrage.
