Here's my OG advice no one asked for:
We've seen this play out before. Could name countless examples, but let's go...Brandon Roy came back in 8 days from meniscus surgery in 2010. Retired at 27 with no cartilage left. Robert Williams rushed back for the Celtics playoff series in 2022, still dealing with it, seems like. KD tore his Achilles coming back too early in 2019, back but missed ton of time.
Look, injuries robbed me of the back half of my career too, so I get wanting to be out there...especially for the playoffs. But take your time. Come back 100%. You're not the difference between winning a title or not. And if you are? You'll be that guy next year too.
Your body is your career. Have to protect it. Fans will understand and appreciate the extra good years that you/they get out of it!
