We invited Breaking Barriers to create a new binaural soundscape on Every Street, with the people who choose to call Nelson their home. Here's some behind the scenes shots of what Breaking Barriers have been up to so far! A week of free performances is coming to Nelson in 2024!

We are incredibly excited to announce our commission with Breaking Barriers, Stories We Tell Nelson. Breaking Barriers are a Rochdale-based production company whose work is rooted in amplifying unheard voices and bringing ambitious work to local streets and people.

Great to see the Marhaba Cafe team of Victoria Park Pavilion take part in a workshop looking at food politics yesterday.

The workshop was run by artist Dana Olarescu as part of the This_is_Nelson project, who wanted to explore what role food plays in peoples lives.
