@TrueeeeBlueeeee@Blue_Footy "we saw an invincible winner available and went ahead to choose cesc because of vibes"
Is what you would have been tweeting rn
The first wife bought car for herself. It is bad enough you went ahead to marry a second wife, you went ahead to use money you don't have to buy car for her.
In what world do you think that is okay to the first wife?
One guy gave me his clothes to wash one time, I was reluctant and forgot about it. Baba decked me, I suspect it contributed to my knee issues today.
Saw him years later, after school. It was sad to hear him say "that thing you did to me ruined my life"
Coz he got expelled
Look how Morgan Gibbs White left the ball for him, but Cole Palmer would’ve taken the ball from him at that point and passed backwards or sideways or even get dispossessed.
This was one of the reasons we didn’t see such goals from Delap at Chelsea and maybe why he was always aggressive
This whole “she no really like you” narrative is rooted in years of watching women sacrifice their careers, hobbies, friendships, move cities/continents, ambitions and lose parts of themselves for love.
Healthy relationships require compromise, but not the kind where one person has to constantly shrink themselves to prove that they care.
What some people haven’t realised is that women have started thinking differently about what they’re willing to give up for a relationship. They are learning that they can love someone deeply, build a life with them and still remain themselves, and anyone who loves you truly won’t ask you or expect you to leave the things you love that ain’t harmful to them or anyone.
(These women used to give up things that were even productive to them/society)
One person is moving towards a healthier, more stable understanding of love, the other is thinking, “If things aren’t happening the way they used to back in the day, she doesn’t really like you.”
One party is unlearning and becoming stable but one is stuck in the past.
I really detest the way Igbo women are spoken about on this app. In case you didn’t know, Igbo women being branded as “wicked” or “evil feminists” is tribalism.
Let’s talk about Dr. Uju Anya for a second, because the hypocrisy surrounding what is happening to her is actually loud.
This is a platform that constantly presents itself as a champion of free speech. A platform where people have been allowed to say some of the most vile, racist things about Black people, Africans repeatedly, openly, and without consequence.
There is seemingly no level of racism that some people cannot get away with.
But suddenly, when Dr. Uju Anya responds to someone who came at her, everybody discovers the importance of accountability.
Her account gets banned. People are calling for her to lose her job. And then Elon Musk himself quotes her comment and amplifies it to his massive audience, adding fuel to an already growing pile-on.
And I’m sorry, but does X offer freedom of speech or doesn’t it?
Because if the principle is freedom of speech, then it should apply to everybody.
You cannot allow one group of people to spend every day provoking, insulting, targeting and dehumanizing others, and then suddenly decide that the person who responds has crossed some unforgivable line.
If the rules exist, enforce them consistently.
Don’t give people unlimited freedom to target others and then selectively enforce those same rules when the target finally talks back.
Everything does not magically become “racist” because somebody didn’t like the response they received.
And Elon Musk really needs to pick a struggle.
Because if people who openly engage in racist rhetoric can maintain their accounts and continue tweeting , (including Elon) on the very same platform, then why are we suddenly pretending Dr. Uju Anya is the great threat because she responded to somebody?
And why does the owner of the platform need to quote-tweet her comment to millions of people and amplify the outrage surrounding a mere banter?
You cannot preach free speech when it protects speech you like and then abandon that principle the moment somebody you disagree with speaks.
And what makes this even more ridiculous is watching Black people and Nigerians celebrate this because they don’t agree with Dr. Anya’s personal values.
You don’t like that she’s a lesbian. You don’t like her liberal opinions . You don’t like her. Fine.
But just so you know, this isn’t the victory some of you think it is.
