I just found a beautiful scripture: Isaiah 41:10.
There will always be trials and tribulations in life, but God will carry you through every storm in your life. And give you strength to make it, even when you feel like you can't.❤️
Yes.
And this is why, those of us who have had the privilege of education, access, knowledge, money, and even power, must not just show the way but also hold the door open for others to walk into these opportunities.
Just came across this line: “Every time you open a book and read, a tree smiles, knowing there's life after death.” I’ll be thinking about this line forever now.
CHECKERS STRUGGLES TO KEEP LOCAL DRIVERS
Checkers Sixty60 has grown its team of South African riders, but many are quitting twice as fast as their foreign counterparts.
Shoprite’s delivery platform, which now works with over 7,000 drivers through its logistics arm Pingo, still relies heavily on migrant workers to meet its 60-minute delivery target.
Locals often leave due to low take-home pay and safety risks on busy roads.
Despite offering training, insurance, and fair wages, retention remains a problem.
Shoprite says it’s improving conditions and incentives to attract more South Africans to its expanding delivery network.
