The school is definitely not safe right now. And there is no real care.

[Chris Sabela @clmsabela]

(7) Yesterday another learner https://t.co/1bePILW4Ke.a potential contact has had a high temperature. Still tjings are going on as per normal.
The principal when asked about closing the school, qouted a clause on the many circulars from the department that closing the school

[Chris Sabela @clmsabela]

(8) is a call that the.principal can make when he sees the need.
It means the school community now depends on his mercy to close.
As of Monday parents have been walking into the school because he.and the SGB have called parents on.parent meetings.

[Chris Sabela @clmsabela]

(4) But they are kept in the hostel where they still share facilities like bathrooms with the rest of others.
No fumigation has been done on the class or the hostel and life continues. Learners are in class, teachers are teaching.

[Chris Sabela @clmsabela]

(3) Then the school was only alerted when.hos results came that he is covid positive.
He was asked to identify his contacts and those are now put away on isolation while waiting for their results.

[Chris Sabela @clmsabela]

(2) The learner was returned to school and we as teachers were only told he was being treated for tonsillitis infection. And he continued schooling as normal. The parent did not tell the school that he has taken tests for covid.
