Ideally, a serious policy proposal would include a new agency to consolidate efforts and avoid multi-agency jurisdiction, conflicting regs (and interests), logical tax code, etc. Also needs intl treaty bc no govt can control computer code.

@bluevirginia @JonathanCohn For the record: Trump crypto fund is 100% publicly-funded money laundering for Putin and North Korea, to circumvent financial sanctions.

This move lets him cover up the paper trail that would otherwise come of it.

That said, a crypto reserve is something I wish Biden did.
