First Minister @JohnSwinney attended the opening of @HitachiEnergy new UK Centre of Excellence in Glasgow, which will create around 100 specialised jobs in the city.
A majority in the Scottish Parliament has just backed our call to devolve energy powers to Scotland.
We can’t afford being tied to the failed policies at Westminster.
Scotland’s energy should work for Scotland - with the powers we need to help bring people’s bills down.
We are delivering the best cost of living support in the UK, and we will go further by capping bus fares and essential food prices.
But as energy bills rise again, the UK Government must stop dithering and act now. And if they won't, devolve the energy powers so that we can.
Labour promised to cut energy bills, but in July they are rising again.
People in energy-rich Scotland should not be paying some of the highest bills in Europe.
Scotland should control its energy - and today we will vote to demand the devolution of energy powers to Holyrood.
We are ensuring more affordable homes are built across Scotland, and we will help more people buy a first home of their own.
Our First Homes Fund will support first-time buyers with £10,000, with applications opening by the end of June.

And we have exceeded our target of 150,000 additional appointments and procedures - over 168,000 have been delivered.
