Keir Starmer accuses Nigel Farage of "exploiting" the death of Henry Nowak with his call for people to respond with "pure, cold fury".
The Reform leader criticised 'two tier policing' and warned that violence in Southampton was "in danger of getting considerably worse" if public lost faith in police.
A clearly furious Starmer told MPs that Farage's words were "unforgivable".
"I don't believe there is two-tier policing in this country. I am really shocked that he pretends to have respect for Henry's family and then behaves in this way.
"The grieving family has asked us not to respond in the way the Reform leader has done. They made a simple plea to us as human beings not to exploit that.
"His response has been to appeal for rage. Rage. That's his response to a father who has lost his son and asked this not to happen.
"Exploiting that tragedy to create division would be wrong in any circumstances. To do it when the family are expressly saying 'please don't' is unforgivable.
"It shows exactly who he is".
Let's get one thing straight.
The BBC made Nigel Farage.
Their exposure, their coverage, their record invites onto Question Time.
He would quite simply not be where he is now, were it not for the BBC.
He should be thanking them, not threatening to abolish them.
BREAKING: Reports are emerging from France that Shaun Edwards is set to leave France with immediate effect.

Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
Know Christ so well you can discern what is unlike Him no matter the seductive or religious garb it wears. God is building His kingdom in the hearts of men and women, not in the externals we have come to love, protect, and praise.

Emi Martínez: “Today I broke my finger during the warm-up & for me, every bad thing brings something good. I’ve done this my whole life & I’ll keep doing it. Should I be worried? Well, I’ve never had a broken finger before. Every time I caught the ball, it went the other way. But these are things you have to go through, & I’m proud to defend Aston Villa.” @AlbicelesteTalk #avfc
