Profit is an inefficiency. It’s the result of an uneven trade. Excess profit is exploitation of the system. It’s fine to strive for a bit of profit as long as the profit is used for something beneficial. I think most of our economic problems come from prioritizing excess profit.
@emkenobi Prepare yourself for a barrage of billionaire defenders who have not done the economic analysis to realize the damage that wealth hoarding does to an economy and the people within it. Each of these men alone cannot end all suffering but if they all ceased hoarding it would help:)
@RuneKingRhoam Nothing wrong with that. Xenoblade 2 ended up being my least favorite in the series by an enormous amount despite how popular it is. I enjoy almost nothing about it and was extremely disappointed by it after playing 1 and x. Sometimes that’s just the way it is. Just preferences
@OWAnonymous_ This is the true issue that no format can fix. People insist on having tanks on their team but will not play tank. In open queue this results in having no tanks. In role queue this results in long queue times. In all cases people cannot complain. You want a tank? Then play tank!
@AbbyAZK I think the core format issue is people who only play one role demanding other people play the role they don’t like. Everyone plays damage > game goes 222. Nobody queues tank > game goes 5v5. At the end of the day if you aren’t willing to play all roles there is no format for you
@BernieSanders These comments are so disappointing and sad. Too many people love losing the game of monopoly and dying poor leaving future generations to do the same just because they think rich people are some kind of heroes who deserve to be kings. Wake up people. Tax wealth or die poor.
@404paigenotfnd Purchasing power needs to rise in accordance with these rising prices. That means higher wages relative to goods and asset prices. The only way I see that happening is if those at the top begin to take less and leave more for everyone else. They won’t do that… thus wealth taxes.
@MelatKirosCO You have my vote! The problem is that in order to accomplish this goal we have to find out how to convince the majority across the political spectrum, and many of them are convinced tax is evil and billionaires are saints.
@ProfCasting@StockSavvyShay Gonna be a long hard fight if we want it. The rich will lobby against it nonstop. I think everyone needs to be aware of the economic impact of wealth hoarding and demand it from politicians in order to elect them. UK is getting closer. Hope they succeed and set an example.
@aljthomp@StockSavvyShay Without taxes there is no government and everything becomes privatized. Two main things are: 1. taxes being spent on good things such as the people of this country, and 2. Tax burden being focused on those with the most wealth who can afford to pay while still living luxuriously.
@ProfCasting@StockSavvyShay Do it at the same time I say. Rewrite the tax code to shift the burden away from working class folk and onto the wealth hoards who can afford to pay more. This in turn restricts the growth of the wealth hoard while boosting the earnings of those with little to no wealth.
@thebigjuiceer@atrupar The limit is arbitrary really but I’m looking at passive income assuming a safe 10%. Someone with 100k in assets can safely make 10k a year on passive income and that’s not damaging the economy. They still need to work to survive. Someone with 10 million makes a million passively
@TheManlet_King The answer is wealth transfer away from lower, middle class, and government and towards the super rich. Cutting wealth taxes allowed the economy to crash for the general population but the rich retain their assets and generate passive income to buy more assets every year.
@bluewmist I was never poor but still want to mention anyone who equates wealth to hard work has never struggled. People who believe the rich folk are rich because they worked hard can not comprehend how hard poor people work and how little they get from it. Tax wealth not work.
@SamitoFPS I think it’s important that they remember what dropping 6v6 did to the game. Now that we have a large 5v5 audience it would be risky to force heavy change onto them. However the 5v5 audience might actually be a role queue audience. So maybe they could test 6v6 role queue again.
@ITtastesLIKErbr@Xbox_Nostalgia A fair point. I can’t speak for everyone but I was a child when this came out and I looked at the back of the case before I had my parents buy it and could tell it was not a platformer and that it was going to be different. Marketing may have been poor though, I agree with that.
