First time growing this stuff. Planted on our new block, every element you can think of applied, including 72mm of rain over the last week π€ it grows well! Gotta love farming.
@matt_glennen@rob_hughes11@Dairy_Australia I was a bit frustrated with the dairy pod episodes on el Nino drought preparation etc but I guess they just worked off the forecast. Perhaps a bit more fluidity would be a good thing. Ha
@ajackag13@FullCircleNutr1@William80414016 I've seen compost make our soil more fertile, which in turn would class it as a fertiliser I guess. It is not a necessity to contain high levels of soluble NPK to make soil more 'fertile'. Funny how we think of these words nowadays! π€·
@brianjcorr1 We have a meccalte, similar size. We have the hertz meter and generally it sits close to 500 PTO rpm or there about, depends how accurate the tractor is too! Can get a plug in hertz meter from cutting edge in warragul.
