@staralliance Understood. Every airline (business) runs their own customer service group. What you are saying is, StarAlliance is not independently monitoring their members, if they are holding up to the Star Alliance expectations of services provided. That’s surprising.
@staralliance I am interested what the Alliance is doing to monitor Member Airline Performance. I want to bring my #aircanada experience to your attention. I have traveled on almost all Partner Airlines in last 20 years. Never such a bad experience as with them
@shawnrgillis @Air Canada They send me a return tweet, making it look like they care. But again, two weeks later it’s still radio silence. My conclusion, they still don’t care
@shawnrgillis Dear Shawn, sorry to hear what happened to you with @aircanada. Isn’t it interesting how they treat you at the airport or customer service phone line, where nobody picks up? As soon as you tweet, they want to talk to you
Hi #aircanada, why do you think it is OK to take advantage of ETA hickup situation and respond with, “it’s your own fault”, & now we offer you a $6000 for a 3 one way tickets (with a layover) between San Diego and Toronto ? You do so with ur customers, because u think you can?
@tvluk12 @AirCanada Good luck my fellow Traveller on @AirCanada. Get yourself prepared to be denied boarding your flight without ETA. I recommend you check alternate airlines. I hope you have choices.
@AirCanada As a loyal Starc Alliance Flyer I like to hear from you, if you equally have been taken advantage off by Air Canada due to an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) issue. Will bring it up to Consumer Advocacy groups
@AirCanada As a Star Alliance Gold custumer for years I have plenty experience with airlines and with situations. I never had such a bad customer service experience from any other partner airline

#aircanada it’s not about ‘sorry you did not make your flight to Toronto ‘ it’s about how an airline treats their customers ( like sh*t) and tries to take advantage of them. Please review the detail of the case in your custumer service database
#aircanada, I was hoping to get a decent response from customer service after this experience at the airport. But NO. Two month after my written inquiry to Customerservice, I received another “oh well, you are screwed” answer - just bad!
At #aircanada, you do this while another star alliance partner (United)is willing to help me out for $800 instead of $6000 on #aircanada. That is Highway robbery. Or plain ripoff IMO
