If youth sports parents can find a coach that connects with players, listens, challenges, inspires, builds confidence and really teaches, their child is actually much better off with them than with a coach whose teams "win" more but provides little or none of those other things.
"Simple mindset shifts:
- I'm not hurt, I'm healing.
- I'm not losing, I'm learning.
- I was not rejected, I was redirected.

@4cast4you Help us solve a family argument: chance of precipitation - my daughter saw a TikTok that if there is a 40% chance of precipitation, 40% of the area are going to experience rain without question. I interpret “40% chance” as the area has a low-ish chance of seeing rain.
If they don’t travel, complaint. Travel but don’t play, complaint. Travel & play but not play enough, complaint. Travel & play but not start, complaint. Travel, play & start but not play whole game, complaint. Team wins but not play, complaint. Coaching is a brutal profession.
