@ob_cycler@JPAdotcom You can thank the FAA for that height limit because our airport is so close to downtown. That's here to stay unless there's a Prop that passes to move the airport
@catrathustra@thoughteds That's dictated by building code limits in how high you can build with wood and doesn't incur the costs of a fully concrete building. It's something I deal with all the time in my life of work
@mattmoves93 @acbowen I remember reading a history years ago and one reason was to cut down the onramps going south since there was Robinson, Richmond, and Quince right before the interchange with the 5. I'll have to look for that source again to confirm
@tahinisauce_ @mattmoves93 There's a perimeter rule set up when the larger airports were built to drive traffic to them. Dallas also had this arrangement, but it was repealed about a decade ago
