Elon, I made a reservation 9 years ago, paid the $50k. A few months ago Tesla Spain cancelled it by mistake and now they won't reinstate it 😢. I had ordered a Model Y which I had to cancel, and they cancelled and refunded the Roadster in error. Please help!
Cristian Ursan (Inside Sales Supervisor, Alcobendas), on RN109066253:
"After internal escalation they said they will not reinstate the original reservation once it was cancelled and the refund processed."
Your push to ban or suppress X is driven by one central fact: the platform relentlessly exposes the Irish government’s falsehoods, corruption, and cascading policy failures. Unfiltered public scrutiny is dismantling the sanitised narrative you’ve spent years constructing , and censorship is the only lever you have left to regain control.
Gary Stevenson is getting rich telling people they will never be rich.
His message is that the system is broken and stacked against ordinary people. Fine. But where is the solution beyond buying his books, paying his Patreon and spending hundreds to hear him say it live?
That is the issue.
I have no problem with capitalism. I openly support it. I charge for education that is designed to give people tools, options and agency within the system as it exists.
Gary does not support capitalism. His entire brand is built on opposing it.
So when someone who claims the system is rigged builds a highly profitable business by repeatedly monetising despair rather than teaching people how to navigate or improve their position, that contradiction is worth pointing out.
This is not about whether he is allowed to charge. Of course he is.
It is about whether his incentives depend on people believing they are stuck, when they are in fact not.
Low quality, snarky comment. Credibility starts with full context. Double Down News usually provides solid journalism, but starting off with biased sensationalism was a red flag for me. I very much doubt the Elon clip was essential to the Ellison story. I’d rather spend my time seeking other reports, thanks.
OK, I’m going to challenge you to back that up! I’ll tell you why I disagree and let’s see if you can?
Why? For his support of Free Speech by buying 𝕏 which has actually permitted the conversation around things like gender critical views to be heard and political debate to be held? Maybe for the innovation and creation of Starlink and the support provided free as a standard policy, for humanitarian aid in disaster areas and war zones? Maybe for his championing of solar energy and the incredible work of the Tesla teams in Australia supporting its issues some years ago which caused terrible power cuts? Or his work with Neuralink to give paraplegics back their lives, the blind back their sight, and ALS sufferers back their voice? Or of course his work making the US the most technologically advanced country in the Space sector? In AI? In electric transportation? Maybe for the 100s of thousands of good, well paying jobs created across the world not just direct in his businesses but indirect in the supply chains? The billions in taxes paid?
The truth is, all the people see who resent him this much is his ‘wealth’, (and his support for Trump alongside over half of the US population) which even my 16yr old recognises is only based upon the market value of his businesses - it’s not money he has in a vault somewhere that he does a Scrooge McDuck dive into every morning before breakfast. They want to dislike him so choose not to see any of the good. Add to that they twist the autism driving his personality quirks away from being an ‘inclusive’ point in his favour - to his responses and behavioural traits just being more evidence of ‘Elon Bad’.
To my mind such a ridiculously statement evidences a lack of critical thinking skills - which is a shame as I’ve been such a fan of yours throughout my life. You were a powerhouse woman in a time women were truly showing their power, more than any in this silly modern iteration of feminism, front and centre, inspiring so many - not just in tennis (I can’t hit the ball - no hand eye coordination at all!) but in the belief that women could do anything. And South Africa, of all places?
Elon is one of the greatest minds to come out of any country certainly in our lifetime. All he does is work and have kids. He’s not doing a Bezos on his multiple yachts or a Zuckerberg copying everyone else’s ideas or a Gates buying up resources (in particular land) making it impossible for normal people to own anything. He’s just innovating, creating, building, adding value where he can. He doesn’t even bother with patents because he wants to support others to innovate too. He just innovates faster. So go on - list what’s so bad about him. I challenge you to make the argument to back up your claim.
@joshuarolson YOU are a deeply unpleasant man. Full of hate, lies and envy. Virtue signalling and jumping on the ignorant ‘Elon bad’ bandwagon may help you feel less sad and lonely, but it won’t help make the world a better place, which, as it happens, Elon is doing, in multiple ways.
Through following Tesla and Elon Musk closely for almost 10 years, it has opened my eyes to media propaganda in the most striking, undeniable way.
Not long ago, @BBCNews thought it was fine to publish the headline "Elon Musk and Prince Andrew named in new Epstein files"... whilst knowing full well that @elonmusk was simply invited by Epstein. Didn't accept the invite. Never went to Epstein Island. Did the BBC want you to believe that Elon Musk is guilty by association? amplifying the smear alongside Price Andrew? That was the BBC's choice, not an accident.
This is why the BBC has utterly lost the respect of once-admirable viewers. It lies, it deceives, and it does so with astonishing arrogance.
...and if I see through the lies on a subject matter I know a lot about, one would assume it does the same with subjects I know little about.
If anyone's beliefs about any subject are being installed by the BBC or traditional mainstream media, you can guarantee any country's citizens are dangerously brainwashed into believing falsehoods.
If truth & facts matter to you, no matter how ugly they might be, @X is now the fastest, most transparent platform where truth gets challenged in real time — and we, the people, are the fact-checkers.
@lewis_goodall@KonstantinKisin Given the bad press digital IDs are getting, surely you would want to take this opportunity to set the record straight with one of its critics. It’s cowardly to back out with poor excuses. You know you can’t win this debate, though, so I’m not surprised.
