My husband, @mattvanswol has been locked out of his X account for refusing to delete a post he made this morning.
X locked his account for “abuse and harassment” which of course, he did not do.
In fact, he did the EXACT OPPOSITE and stated how horrible the video was and how awful it was to watch.
How can we “be the news” if we cannot post the news without being forced to delete it?
This is wrong.
People should be allowed to see the content Matt posts, regardless of whether it is hard to watch or not.
Personally, I often find it really difficult to watch some of the content Matt posts because it is so horrible.
And that’s exactly the point.
People need to KNOW things like this are happening… because without people like Matt, so many stories would not be national news and catalysts for change.
@x and @elonmusk please fix this.
@cybrtrkguy Being able to drop the rear and raise the front for easier bed loading and unloading without having to put the car in service mode in very high while dumping the back air bags
@AlexFinn Told Cheif to text the wife "omw home with pizza" and send her an image of the receipt. Foni bot was logged in to my Google messages. Grabbed the receipt from my email and basically screen shot it as an image and texted it to her.
@AlexFinn Even got one going through my medical reports getting summarized from Medical Melanie! Also one to note that I haven't seen utilized is texting through android phone with Google messages app through browser.
@cybrtrkguy Same. Supergrok heavy subscription used up the "highest grok bot" access in less then 4 hours. Then spent 50$ for additional and saw that dissappear in less than an hour.
I have both and android and iPhone. Have a bot access my android messages so I can text people from grokbot
Fuck you if you hate on Elon Musk.
I’ve got nothing but two middle fingers for all of you who spend your whole day rooting for him to fail.
Bc when real life hits, a lot of the same people laughing today will end up hoping the technology he built actually works.
When someone you love is in a serious car accident, you’re going to wish cars were smart enough to prevent crashes in the first place. That’s the direction Tesla is pushing with FSD.
When someone loses the ability to move, you’re going to hope companies like Neuralink keep making progress toward helping the brain communicate with computers and potentially restoring lost function.
When powerful people want more control over what can be said on the internet and even censor it, you’re going to understand why having a platform like 𝕏 that fights for open conversation matters.
When a disaster knocks out your internet and cell service, you’re going to be thankful satellites are already above us and Starlink can bring connectivity to places traditional networks can’t reach.
And if humanity ever faces a threat big enough that Earth alone isn’t enough, you’re going to be glad somebody spent decades thinking about rockets, reusable launch systems, Starship, and making life multiplanetary.
Bro… this doesn’t mean Elon is perfect. No one is.
He says crazy shit.
He does crazy shit.
Sometimes he’s early.
Sometimes he’s wrong.
Sometimes he pisses everybody off.
But look at what he chooses to spend his life building… safer transportation, brain-computer interfaces, global internet, free speech infrastructure, energy, robotics, AI, and a path toward another planet.
You don’t have to like the man.
But spending your life hoping he fails is a fool’s game.
I’d rather bet on the person crazy enough to keep trying to solve problems most people are too afraid to even touch.
From everything I’ve seen, his heart is in the right place and his intentions are bigger than himself.
He cares.
From Grok Heavy after doing some additional research:
**Yes — here's a realistic breakdown of what Tesla would need to do on their side** to deliver a true **500-mile EPA Cybertruck** (mixed driving, not just highway).
### Current Baseline (2026 Production)
- Pack: ~123 kWh usable
- Pack energy density: **~170 Wh/kg**
- Cell energy density: **~252–272 Wh/kg** (Gen 2 “Cybercell”)
- Real-world range: 320–340 miles (EPA), ~250–280 miles highway towing or loaded
To hit **500 miles EPA**, Tesla would need roughly **+47–55% more effective energy** after accounting for efficiency gains.
### What Tesla Must Deliver (on the Tesla Side)
| Area | Needed Improvement | Realistic Path (What They’re Already Working On) | Impact on Range |
|-----------------------|---------------------------------------------|--------------------------------------------------|-----------------|
| **Cell Chemistry** | +25–35% higher cell density | Gen 3 4680: Dry cathode + higher silicon anode + NMC955/NMC973 cathode | +80–110 miles |
| **Pack Design** | Reduce inactive mass, increase capacity | Larger structural pack (140–160+ kWh) + thinner housings + better cooling integration | +60–90 miles |
| **Vehicle Efficiency**| 15–20% better overall efficiency | Aero tweaks, lighter materials, motor/inverter upgrades, better heat pump | +50–70 miles |
| **Total** | ~47–55% net gain | Combination of above | 500+ miles |
### Most Likely Path Tesla Will Take
1. **2027–2028 Refresh**
- Gen 3 4680 cells (dry electrode + advanced silicon) → ~10–20% density gain
- Slightly larger pack (~140–145 kWh)
- Expected range: **400–450 miles**
2. **2029–2030 “Long Range” Variant**
- Further chemistry leap (higher silicon loading + condensed/semi-solid elements)
- 155–170 kWh structural pack
- Major efficiency improvements
- This is when **500 miles becomes realistic**
Tesla has a strong incentive to keep improving the **4680 structural pack** rather than switching to LFP for the flagship Cybertruck, because the structural design gives them major advantages in rigidity, weight distribution, and manufacturing cost at scale. LFP would be excellent for a cheaper “Standard Range” variant, but the high-range flagship will almost certainly stay high-nickel.
**Bottom line**:
The upgrades needed are **substantial but achievable** — mainly continued 4680 refinement + a modestly larger pack + efficiency gains. With the pace we’re seeing (and pressure from CATL/BYD), **late 2029 to 2031** is the most probable window for a production 500-mile Cybertruck.
Would you like me to map out the exact math (how many extra kWh + density needed for 500 miles), or compare this to what a CATL/BYD LFP-based Cybertruck could theoretically do?
@thedooberhead Ya basically just gonna look for a larger harness style kids seat to not utilize the regular buckle but still hoping for something easier/cheaper.
@rhensing@jchybow Were there a good amount here before in Maryland? I’ve never ran into them but saw a lot of them on my way to Michigan and back last week. Never tried it tho
@gerrylum2 100% - I love my cybertruck and we have a minivan as well. Love the Model Y-L, would like to replace the minivan but don't want to have a 100$ subscription over my head.
😂 I thought the Tesla was playing a joke on me last night because it said my Cybertruck Kalidon was at Mars...
until I realized this morning we're not in Cranberry, PA, we're in Mars, PA!
450 ft away makes total sense now 😭🚀
Tesla app 1, my sleepy brain 0. Kalidon has officially landed on the (Pennsylvania) red planet!

1) The US already collects FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS OF TAX REVENUE A YEAR. The idea that you need to collect even more taxes — when you parasites already confiscate the equivalent of Elon’s entire net worth five times over, every year — is lunacy. Stop wasting billions of dollars a month of stupid bullshit. How about that for an idea?
2) We do not need more children in taxpayer funded daycare centers. Our goal should be precisely the opposite of that. We need more women at home raising their kids.
