Been a lot of discussion recently around services trade in the deal between the UK and EU. Having read through the agreement over the past couple of days, my impressions👇
First off, services is definitely included. Question for service providers, is will it be enough?

After many thoughts I have decided not to play this year’s US Open. The situation is very complicated worldwide, the COVID-19 cases are increasing, it looks like we still don’t have control of it.
Interesting blog from Alfred Artley, a lawyer, who argues - against @piris_jc - that Art50 allows the EU to amend the Withdrawal Agreement to extend the transition beyond year-end.

@faisalislam I think the Minister can only amend it if the EU decide to move things around by an hour or so by changing the way they do daylight savings time (could move it to 00:00 1/1/21). This wouldn't require an agreement at JC, so a Minister wouldn't have to ask for it.
These are great but Num 10 falls into the dreaded 'rest you merry' trap. Not a command to rest but a prayer that God keeps the gents cheerful. And regulating God is probably ultra vires.
Good time to come out of the woodwork with a bit of etymology. A 'vote' is a sacred promise, vow or offering. However low and beastly the politics of the campaigns, whichever way people vote I hope they do it solemnly. We could do with a favourable wind.
