Zohran Mamdani calling Benjamin Netanyahu a war criminal is utterly ridiculous.
The same crowd that rushes to condemn Israel never has much to say about the terrorists who started the war, massacred civilians, raped women, kidnapped children, and still hide behind their own people. Mamdani wants the headline that comes from attacking Netanyahu, not the consistency that comes with confronting Hamas.
By this logic, every Democratic nominee should just be a moderate Republican and then the Democratic candidate would never lose again. But that's not how actual voters think about politics, they don't see politicians on some left-right scale ranging from dark blue to deep red.
So @MikeRogersForMI, by the narrowest of margins, loses statewide to @ElissaSlotkin in '24, and there are Democrats who think running a nominee that is to the far left of Slotkin will get the job done?
Make it make sense!!!
Such unserious goofy shit. You really want the entire center-left to far-left vote split between two parties? Have you thought, at all, about how that would give us like 85 Republican senators?

@brianros1 She lost the race in part because she's *not* a good communicator. She said very stupid things basically any time a question made her nervous - we can't have M4A because Republicans might be in charge of it one day, we should discuss giving Hamas an iron dome, etc.
Can't say the "centrists just care about getting stuff done" argument does much for me as we watch Gov. Spanberger, VA's poster child of centrism, veto bill after bill sent to her from her Democratic state legislature. Centrists aren't special non-ideological unicorns.
Gov. Shapiro: Democrats need to focus on "getting stuff done for people and shying away from this performative politics that just makes noise but doesn't make anybody's life better."
If you think this video was the reason McMorrow's campaign fell apart, your political analysis is compromised by how online you are. McMorrow had a lot of faults and strategic errors which dismantled her campaign stumble by stumble.
wtf is happening. "conserve energy during heat waves to prevent blackouts" is incredibly common advice that is wholly non-political. These people think you're idiots.
She has a law degree from Notre Dame, was fired from her law firm for publicly calling them out for not supporting Palestine after October 7, and at 29-years-old, made a total of $30K last year while being $250K in debt. And Democrats elected her to Congress.
