@Dave_Eby if dropping the digital services tax was the main obstacle, why not just drop it and get a deal? No deal really does look like the worst outcome for both sides.

@MarkJCarney Canada has a digital services tax on big US tech companies. That issue helped sink the trade deal.

Now Canada is matching US tariffs and calling them unfair. Is there a consistent principle I’m missing?

@Dave_Eby I would like to see improvement in downtown Vancouver. I just heard that some innocent people were hurt again in that area. We demand safety, not growing the mental illness population in the city.

@itsTim_eh @Dave_Eby I’m hoping he can do something real to help people with mental illness on the street. I don’t see any follow-up on this topic recently.
