@usedgov I would totally read a Dr. Seuss book titled Literacy Starts At Home on repeat to my child.
Literacy starts at home!
It grows like a little seed!
Starts off small, grows strong and tall!
A little patience is all you need!
@CorJuliaCU@AbolitionRising reading the rest of the relatively harsher comments and these are my thoughts too...poor kid is, frankly, just a kid. yes he's wrong. but sadly that's just the average public school education outcome these days.
@ybkb181580@AbolitionRising 1. flawed success metric
2. I already do this (outspoken advocate for the abolition of abortion), so moot point (or risk moving the goalposts?)
3. eww pessimism
@RichardSpiceman@LyingMagas54647@garyleff@Delta@elonmusk Richard. My original post was satire. Re-read it, it should be evident that's what it was. None of the resulting vitriol is earned, all of the outrage misplaced. Any and all subsequent squabbling utterly needless.
@ChiTownGrowz@garyleff@Delta@elonmusk Since you asked an actual question instead of screeching into the void like others, I will answer: I do not believe what I typed; I was deliberately presenting outlandish statements as fact in a display of sarcasm or satire.
