I applied for a programme with my Full name which included my African name and was rejected within a day even though I fit the criteria and more. So I reapplied with my middle name and was accepted.
People say equal opportunity. Equal opportunity where?

i watched “Adolescence” on Netflix and I’ll give it a 10/10. I think all parents need to watch it, a lot of lessons in accountability and paying attention to what your kids are consuming on the internet
I love this #adolescencenetflix . The dad deserves all the awards. But we really must do better as a society. Everyone is responsible for how these kids turn out; Parents , schools, social media. We must all do better, else it's only going to get worse. Hats off to British TV
#Adolescence netflix had me on the floor with
“I’m ugly” “wait so you aren’t gonna tell me I’m not ugly?”
….
“I’m ashamed” “aren’t you supposed to say I have nothing to be ashamed of?”
“Don’t you like me just a little bit?”
Oh maaaaaaaaannnn that scene is so well written
I know as British people we always say it… but is there a bug or flu going around? I mean the type to give you achy joints, a persistent cough that doesn’t budge and a high ass fever and that’s only a few of my symptoms.
Unpopular opinion but I think Nick is too good for Hannah. He genuinely is a good guy and he always treats Hannah with respect. She always try to emasculate him in front of others. #loveisblind
maternity pay is crap, childcare costs are crippling, childbirth is hellish and pre/post natal care is on its knees, it costs a million pounds to rent a 1 bed shed, butter is a fiver and it’s exhausting just being alive
Are you even from the UK if every time you tell someone you've caught the flu they say "yeah there's one going around at the moment" no matter what time of year it is 😂
