Due to the limited damage, it doesn’t look like any contracts will be activated from Dorian.

It doesn’t look like there will be work on Florida, or it will be very limited. We have a group in NC/SC now waiting to see what gets activated.

Happy Mothers Day! I don’t have any new information about a start date and I don’t have any other openings anywhere else at this time. Understand there are too many people inquiring, I won’t answer individual calls or texts on the subject. Everything I know is posted here.

I was notified today that our contract will not begin on May 1st. Possibly we will start in June. I will continue to update as I know more.

Update: Thompson met with the Jackson County on Friday. They are still waiting on approval for the actual start date. I will post again when I know more.

For those that pick up checks in Quincy, they are there now. I will be at panda Buffet parking lot from 4-8 with the rest.

Update: FDOT has extended funding 15 days. I should know on Saturday whether we start on the 16th, after Easter, or May 1. I’ll let everyone know when I know.

Update: Thompson will be taking over Jackson County. If you are currently working or on standby, we will probably be moving you into Jackson County. You won’t need to do a new application. It’s a new contract, so some new paperwork. I will post when I know more.
