Introducing the first-ever Wildcat Podcast! 4th graders in Mrs. Hackney’s and Mrs. Thorington’s classes have been working hard to have their persuasive current event podcasts ready for you to enjoy over the summer! Please visit this link to listen: https://t.co/RTwdrH2bC0
Hello! My name is Daria and I’m a horticulturist at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. I am the Home Gardening Information and Outreach supervisor, which includes being a “Plant Doctor”, teaching others about plants and caring for honey bees. #blackbotanistsweek
Lincoln, @Mr_Thorington, and I hiked up Sugarloaf Mountain last week. The views were so beautiful! Also, as small as Lincoln is, he is surprisingly an amazing mountain dog 😂
It’s Mrs. Thorington’s summer of exploration and that includes identifying wildflowers! Wild yellow iris, Lily of the Valley, Red Columbine, and Fringed Polygala.
@Weiss_Principal Including a janky intersection in Wyandotte 😂 Thank you again!! It truly means a lot. 5 hours is a long time but at least there were movies and I’m sure a lot of fun!
In true secret agent style, @Weiss_Principal dropped this off and I couldn’t be more surprised! Thank you for brightening my spirits during this tough time! It’s easy to feel discouraged in a time like this, but the little things truly go the distance!

In the spirit of keeping up social interaction while staying home, I’m taking some advice from one of my kiddos. On our @Flipgrid, he is asking a question a day! I will tweet them in a thread attached to this tweet. Please reply with your answer if you’d like 😊
3/16/20 — What is your favorite activity? I split my answer into two sections. Outside the home: antiquing and camping. Inside the home: reading and watching movies/shows.
Check out our sketches of what happens to the neurons in our brains when we are learning! Today we made our promises for growth mindset this month! 🧠 💪 #GSDpride#WeAreWildcats
