Remember when USAID was cut and everyone flipped out because they said it would kill huge quantities of Africans from aids?

How was saving Africans from aids the responsibility of the US taxpayer? Why does the average working class guy barely making ends meet to support his family have to contribute to that? How is it his fault that men in these countries mass rape women? How is it his fault that regardless of everyone knowing how to prevent transmission, they still don't?

The entire idea that someone just trying to get by in life has to shell out a penny for stuff like this is so absurd.

"You're killing Africans with aids by not paying the money for their treatment!" No, the dudes who rape their way through villages are killing them with aids. The people who use zero precautions during sex in a country that's riddled with aids did that. The clinics that reuse needles did that.
