3. Orders MUST be placed by July 25. (Please note that supplies may arrive a couple of days after school starts.  Don't panic!  We will deliver supplies to each student's classroom as soon as they arrive.)

2. Each kit is $70 and small portion of sales goes back to Thoreau PTSA!  

Please note that Thoreau planners and combination locks are not included in the kits and can be purchased at school.

1. Make school supply shopping easy and order your child's supplies online!!  Thoreau has partnered with Blu School Supplies to make back-to-school shopping simple!  School supply kits are available by grade level and will be shipped to the school.

Thoreau’s relaxed dress code helps with safety.  With 10-11 buses arriving on our campus daily, we can easily identify who is NOT a Thoreau student.  Thank you for your assistance.

Please save the jeans, sweats pants, and tights for our Free Dress Days.  They make wonderful incentives for reading, attendance, homecoming events, etc. throughout the year.

Of course, the Thoreau uniform can always be worn.

Thoreau Families,

As you know, TPS has adjusted the uniform policy to a “relaxed uniform” due to the pandemic.

At Thoreau, we are defining the relaxed uniform to include 2 options. (1/3)

Mr. Hixson will be at Thoreau on Friday, May 29th from 9 -12 if you still want to purchase a yearbook or still need to pick up one that you already ordered. $40 cash or check.

4. However, you can sit in your truck bed, open your SUV trunk, or let down your convertible top. There will be an outdoor stage and you can tune in to your FM radio to hear us or just roll down your windows. You will get a chance to see and hear from our creative teachers.

3. Ehowls are sent and you can also go to our PTSA facebook and Twitter pages and Principal Audrey on Facebook. When you get to Thoreau on Tuesday drive in to the parking lot and park. To honor social distancing you MUST stay in your vehicle. We will have security on site to help

We are all scheduled for the Drive-in New Student Orientation for tomorrow Tuesday, May 19th 6:30-7:45! Hopefully the weather will cooperate!

YEARBOOKS ARE HERE
There will be a drive-up, pick up yearbook for 6th and 7th grade on Friday, May 15 from 3:30 to 6:30. 8th grade yearbook distribution will occur the following week. Please bring your Thoreau student with their student ID with you.
