@ginasfsydnee That does seems like too quick of a taper from Paxil from my own experiences. Taking Paxil and Effexor at the same time can be risky and cause Serotonin Syndrome.

You might want to consult a pharmacist. They usually can help out and a lot of pharmacies have online chats.
